- Copy the sentence “la
vie est belle” (life is beautiful) on the grosgrain ribbon using a pencil
Paint the sentence, filling in the outlines using a fine brush and black setacolor paint. Leave to dry and then protect the ribbon with a cloth or a sheet of baking paper and iron for 5 minutes with an iron on cotton position to fix the colour.
Position then secure the ribbon all around the hat with a few stitches
- You can attach a fabric flower to hide the seam and make your hat even more chic!
