• Instructions

  Setacolor Opaque colors can be applied to prewashed fabrics such as cotton, wool, cotton-wool blends, knits, jersey, velvet, jacquard, polyester, fiber blends, non-wovens, and even leather.

  They can be used either straight from the bottle or diluted with water for watercolor effects. Their rich texture is especially suited for various textile decoration techniques: brush, dropper, stamp, screen printing, stencil, etc. When combined with Setacolor auxiliaries, it's possible to create a wide range of effects and vary the finishes depending on the technique used.

  To fix the colors, iron the reverse side of the decorated fabric for 5 minutes, with the iron set to the “cotton” position and steam turned off. You can also fix the colors in a domestic oven at 150°C for 5 minutes.

  Once set, the colors are machine washable. Dry cleaning is not recommended.

  For airbrush application, it's recommended to first prepare a 1:1 mix: 50% water and 50% Setacolor Lightening Medium (ref. 391014). This mixture will serve as the base. Then, mix 50% Setacolor Opaque paint with 50% of the base mixture to achieve a texture suitable for airbrushing.
