To apply our Vitrail product, we recommend a horizontal surface. This is because the product is very fluid and horizontal application means that a thicker layer can be applied, giving greater depth of colour and eliminating the risk of drips.
Vertical application is also possible. The best way is to have Plexiglas cut to the size of your windows and work with the stained glass colours horizontally on your table. Once dry, place the Plexiglas against the inside of your window and seal it against the jamb of your window. It’s best to put the decoration between the glass and the plexiglass – the effect is superb. If you have worked with the relief ring, it will crush a little and give a beautiful effect (imitation lead ribbon).
